How to connect Dynamics AX 2009 SSRS reports having business logic or AOT query as data source with SQL server database (duplicate database) other than the one AOS points to?

Hello,

We want to fetch data for our SSRS reports from a replica of original database(AX AOS database server) in AX 2009.

These reports contain either business logic or Axapta AOT query as data source.

How can we connect Dynamics AX 2009 SSRS reports having business logic or AOT query as data source with SQL server database (duplicate database) other than the one AOS points to?

SQL Server version: 2008 R2

AX version: AX 2009
