In ssrs native mode, business user who is using the report does need the read permission in the report folder, but DOES NOT need the read permission in SHARED DATA SOURCE folder.
In integrated mode, business user needs BOTH read permisions REPORT AND SHARED DATA SOURCE folder.
My company uses unattended service account in the shared data source, does it mean any user who has read access to shared data source can use report builder to browse any data he wants? Becasue we have to give the read permission to all the business users if they need to read the report, it will be huge security backdoor, right?
If this is the case, what is the solution for it?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
