Greetings from the UK
Setup:
SQL 2008 R2 Standard
SharePoint 2010 Enterprise
Report server on the same box as SharePoint running in integrated mode.
Issue:
I have a Document library with a workflow called “Approval Changer” triggered for all new items which works correctly when a manual item is loaded by any user but on receipt of a document from a reporting services subscription the workflow fails to start with the following in the document library against the document’s workflow history:
|
And on checking the ULS logs on the SharePoint Server I have:
ReportingServicesService.exe (0x0870) 0x1188 SharePoint Foundation Workflow Infrastructure 72fs Unexpected RunWorkflow: Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.NotYetSupportedException: The requested functionality is currently not supported.
ReportingServicesService.exe (0x0870) 0x1188 SharePoint Foundation Workflow Infrastructure 98d8 Unexpected Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.NotYetSupportedException: The requested functionality is currently not supported.
So it appears that I cannot trigger a 'new item' workflow in a document library in MOSS 2010 from a document created by a SSRS subscription , is that really correct? or have I got a set up issue.
I have tried using impersonation steps in the workflow – same problem.
As I stated the workflow works fine for manual document uploads just not for incoming documents saved directly to the document library by a SSRS subscription. The subscription themselves are fine but the workflow gets canceled every time.
NB I will post this to the SharePoint forum as well as the ULS error is Reporting Services but the failure is manifest in SharePoint.
Any help gratefully received.
Kevin
