Hello specialists.
I'm running Essbase 11.1.2.1 and SSRS 2008 R2 as well as SQL server 2008r2 and windows server 2008 r2.
Last night i had a working SSRS report that used the XMLA connector to perform some MDX queries on the Essbase cube. I had no problem whatsoever.
Today first thing i do is pressing the preview button in the report i was working on and I get the following error.
"An error occurred during local report processing, Cannot read the next data row for the dataset "year". The server sent an unrecognizable response. Unable to format XML value according to declared type. Input string was not in the correct format."
I tried to remake the connection string in the connection I had, I perform the test connection and the result is successful. I try other reports I have that use the same connection and i keep getting the same error so the problem is in the connection. I have restarted the essbase server and everything but somehow this sudden error insists on not going away :/. I'm able to run the queries in the datasets when I'm using the essbase mdx editor in the Oracle Essabse editor, so it is a problem in the XMLA connector.
If any of you has any clue about how to solve this issue please, help :)
