I am looking to set up an email address for all SSRS users. When I set up users for SSRS, AD users able to set up. But there is no place to set up an email address for them. Please refer to the picture. I found a script to list the user on Olaf web site.

The Reporting Service 2017 was long installed and worked properly.
I suppose the issue could be related to the installation of Framework 4.7.2 but I'm not sure.
I tried to repair, to uninstall and reinstall nothing was happened

I would have thought the tools provided with SQL Server 2017 Reporting Services (i.e. RS.exe in particular) would have been updated to work with a newer version of the .NET framework in line with the system requirements documented at the download page.
Yet I'm prompted to install .NET 3.5 when I run it.
Are there plans to upgrade it soon?

We are using 2016 reportserver to generate reports. we are facing space issue between "P.O. Box 29429" while seeing it on PDF export. Please check attached export. We are unable to see the space between "Box and 29429" on pdf export. But there is a space between them while i am moving the cursor to that place. There is a issue in visibility.
can anyone suggest that what might be the issue..?

i've created a gantt chart with Report Builder 3.0. The x-axis shows date values and bars in the diagram represent the duration of tasks. The diagram works so far correctly. However i would like to adapt the labels on the x-axis: currently it shows shortdate values, i.e. at the start of each year i've "01/01/[year]". I would like to change this into 4 labels per year, indicating the quarter of the year (like "Q[1-4]/[year]"). Could you give me a hint how to achieve this and where to configure this?

The dataset which is fed into the chart is a list of rows where one row represents one bar (task), the start and the end date are given in the Datetime-colums "TaskStartDate" and "TaskFinishDate".
I hope my description is understandable, if not i will try to clarify.

In SSRS report, we would like to show only top 10 rows but in export it should show all rows.
As of now if we use row visiblity or filter option it shows top 10 rows in report as well as even after export.
Please let us know if it is feasible or not . If feasible, how we can do it.

I want to set a field value based on the type of related fields the information is coming from. For example, I have two fields ('activity type' and 'case event type'). Activity Type is a standard CRM field and case event type is a custom entity. I want to display the Case Event 'Name' if the activity type = Case Event", otherwise I want to display the activity type (the standard CRM activity types). So far I have:

But now I want to be able to show the times per worker for other days of the week so that they are all plotted on the same chart. How do I do this?
Alternatively, I have created a matrix to represent this same data, but that did not look as nice asthetically. And I doubt that would work for 4 dimensions.

have a requirement where I need to display 8 Hr to 20 Hours for Dayworkload and again 20 Hours to 8 for Nightworkload. I have added group by clause for Day and Night workloads but how can I set the horizontal axis to display these depending on the shift ?
X-Axis for DayLoad Min value 8 and Max 20 8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20

I am trying to drill through a sub report from the main report of a scatter chart, based on a condition in Action.
The expression I am using is
=IIF(Fields!CustomerID.Color="Red", Globals!ReportName="CustomerDetails", "")
if the color of the data point is red, it should allow me to drill through another report called CustomerDetails else nothing("") should happen.
It doesn't seem to be working.
Please suggest.

I just found that after I installed CU1 on a SQL Server 2016 SP2 which only has the Reporting Services installed, the SSRS service started to crash and the system showed high CPU usage. I can see that it starts to create a lot new files under C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS13.%INSTANCE_NAME%\Reporting Services\LogFiles -> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Portal.WebHost_DATE-N-TIME.log. From the ReportServerService_DATE-N-TIME.log I can see that the web host service is crashing every time the web site gets accessed ->
appdomainmanager!DefaultDomain!1b48!06/10/2018-21:44:16:: e ERROR: Child Process Died. Restarting it. Check the log for further information: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS13.%INSTANCE_NAME%\Reporting Services\ReportServer\bin\..\..\RSWebApp\Microsoft.ReportingServices.Portal.WebHost.exeBTW: The executable mentioned in the logs - Microsoft.ReportingServices.Portal.WebHost.exe - is the one causing the high CPU load.
Once I uninstalled the CU1 the machine started to work as normal. I repeated the install and uninstall three times and can say that the problem is related to CU1.
Anyone facing the same problem or has an idea what's wrong?
